Berlin will play host to Europe's largest meeting of ethical supply chain experts in October, it has been revealed.
The Ethical Corporation's 3rd Annual Ethical Supply Chain Summit is set for October 16-17, and companies such as L'Oreal, Toyota and the Body Shop have already confirmed attendance.
The conference aims to share ideas regarding the ethical factors of supply chain management, following a surge in interest from the consumer regarding the quality of a product's supply chain.
Both environmental and social issues will be tackled at the conference, in order to arm companies with a full understanding of how they can make their supply chain green.
Lately, demand from consumers has ensured that supply chains are assessed from back to front, in order that they comply with a satisfactory level of both green and ethical trading.
Companies wishing to adapt their supply chains to fit with new greener standards should look to outsource their supply chain management, as outsourcing supply chain management can save a company money and time, which can then be used to channel energy elsewhere.
