A new awards ceremony is to be held to recognise those who are driving continuous improvement in the supply chain sector.
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) is to hold its inaugural Excellence Awards, which will celebrate the achievements of its members, on October 12th at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
It is now calling for members to nominate workers for a range of categories, including the Personality of the Year, Transport Manager of the Year and Subcontractor of the Year prizes.
"Nominated entrants must be in the employment of a current RHA member or on the paid staff of the RHA," the organisation stated.
"In the case of the Subcontractor of the Year award the subcontracting company/owner-driver must be a current RHA member."
News of the upcoming awards ceremony has come after the RHA backed the announcement that DFDS Seaways plans to enhance its ferry service between Rosyth and Zeebrugge.
