Logistics managers involved in supply chain strategy and transport planning have been urged to get involved in an upcoming event.

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has revealed it is looking for those attending the Transport Manager 2010 event to join the body's Member Advice Team for a game show-style session on challenges they face.

Issues including operator licensing, risk management, driver competence and roadside enforcement are set to be covered during the session.

Sally Thornley, head of FTA's compliance information services, said the event would allow managers to test their knowledge.

She added: "We will be asking the audience by way of anonymous key pads, so managers will be able to compare their own answers with the rest of the delegates. I believe this will be a very lively and informative session."

The FTA recently confirmed it is launching its Transport Hub, which will allow members to deliver messages to political parties during conference season.ADNFCR-1654-ID-800041355-ADNFCR
