The United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) is to unveil a new website later this month.
According to the organisation, this will include an online facility that allows people to easily find warehouses in certain locations.
This forms part of a wider corporate makeover for the body, which has a number of transport and logistics firms on its list of members.
Roger Williams, chief executive officer of UKWA, said he hopes this rebranding will lead to more businesses signing up.
"We aim to attract new companies and deliver more tangible benefits to our long-standing members," he commented.
This, he said, would ensure that more and more businesses would consider UKWA membership as an important contributor to their success.
Mr Williams added that this is the first time it has changed its logo in more than a decade.
This comes shortly after Mr Williams hailed the success of UKWA's recent regional meetings, which were staged all over the UK.
He said the value of networking with other businesses in their industry at such events is very important, particularly in the current economic climate.
