Cadbury has been awarded a major supply chain accolade.
The international food manufacturer has been recognised as the nation's best supply chain and logistics operator, prevailing in the face of stiff competition.
Kimberly Clark and BAE Systems were also in the running for the award, but Cadbury's Purple Passion team won the Fresh Connection competition, which was staged at Wroxhall Abbey in Warwickshire.
Speaking after the success, Emma Pawson, customer innovation and continuous improvement manager at the firm, said: "We're absolutely elated to have won. It was really enjoyable and we learned a lot about the end to end manufacturing process - and it was even more enjoyable to have won."
Her team received four Silverstone Grand Prix tickets and some champagne, along with a trophy presented by Peter Surtees, European supply chain director for Kimberly Clark, and John Perry, SCALA Consulting's managing director.
Cadbury also won an award for its Crunchie Rocks television adverts this week.
