Businesses looking at ways of continuous improvement might be interested in a device that promises to reduce costs and keep the user safe.
Volvo's City Safety technology took home the gong for Best Car Safety Device at the BusinessCar Awards.
It is fitted as standard to all XC60 models and is designed to reduce the danger of a crash when travelling at low speeds.
Tristan Young, editor of the publication behind the award, explained the device might be of particular interest to cost-conscious fleet managers and business users.
"It
has the added benefit of reducing associated insurance and repair costs, while minimising vehicle downtime," he explained.
Peter Rask, managing director of Volvo UK, added the auto manufacturer is committed to developing technology that can help keep passengers and driver safe in the company's autos.
BusinessCar might be useful for those working in logistics continuous improvement as it includes information about fleet management.
