Suzuki is to renew its distribution contract with
supply chain outsourcing provider CEVA Logistics, it has been revealed.
The €7.9 million (£6.99 million) three-year contract will see CEVA managing the distribution of aftermarket vehicle and marine parts throughout the UK.
It has been providing distribution services for Suzuki since 1994, although changes to the contract will now see deliveries completed through CEVA's own specialist automotive network.
Wayne Dye, general manager for parts and accessories at Suzuki, has highlighted the evolution of their contract over the years, including the addition of double-decker trailers and new IT systems.
He said: "By working with CEVA and its other automotive customers we are joining an established automotive network which will improve cost efficiency and deliver higher service levels for our dealerships."
Earlier this month, CEVA announced that it had renewed its supply chain warehousing and distribution agreement with Michelin Thailand for an additional three years.
