Fashion logistics group Lloyd Fraser has unveiled proposals for a new distribution centre, it has been reported.
The firm is currently waiting for permission from the relevant local authority on the project, which would be located in Ogden in the north-west of England, according to the Rochdale Observer.
If approval is awarded, Lloyd Fraser claims that it could create around 20 new jobs for HGV staff and warehouse employees.
Mike Dennis, business development manager, told the newspaper: "We are fairly confident that planning permission will be granted.
"It's not going to be a massively busy site with vehicles coming and going at all times of the day and night."
He added there was "always the possibility" of expanding the development and opening up new jobs.
Meanwhile, the logistics provider Wincanton has secured £100 million in extensions to its existing contracts with HJ Heinz and Panasonic.
