A new logistics hub in Cannock could create 120 new jobs.
Specialist couriers ABC Overnight are planning on relocating to a 121,000 sq ft site in the Staffordshire town and believe the move will also safeguard another 300 positions.
The company is in the process of applying for planning permission to develop the site, which is situated at on the Kingswood Lakeside Business Park, and expects to be operating from there before Christmas next year.
Ivor Skinner, APC Overnight managing director, told Insider Media: "The new hub is essential to APC's national operations and future development; it is a major investment made possible through the growth we are enjoying across the APC network."
The announcement comes just days after the firm revealed pre-tax profits of £3.4 million for 2010-11, up £1.4 million on the previous year. Its total sales were also up to £58 million, a rise of ten per cent.
