Norbert Dentressangle has won a deal to manage House of Fraser’s 510,000 sq ft warehouse in Milton Keynes.
As part of the five contract the German firm will look after distribution from House of Fraser’s centre depot, suppliers and inter-store transfers plus despatches and returns.
It is set to be quite a large job for the logistics company as House of Fraser currently has a network of 62 UK stores and annual sales totalling more than £1.3 billion.
House of Fraser’s supply chain director, Mark Holland said: “I am very excited at the prospect of working with the team at Norbert Dentressangle to ensure that we have the platform to support the exciting growth plans House of Fraser has for its multi-channel offer.”
Norbert Dentressangle also recently inked a deal with fuel equipment manufacturer Tokheim UK for its French supply chain.
