Technology company Avnet has announced it is to host two conferences during November and December, both of which will be broadcast live online.
The two conferences will be hosted by Ray Sadowski, chief financial officer of Avnet, who will present the Raymond James IT Supply Chain Conference in New York Hotel on November 18th; and Roy Vallee, Avnet's chairman and CEO, who will present the Credit Suisse Annual Technology Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 4th, 2008.
The high-tech nature of the two forthcoming supply chain conferences represents the changing world of supply chain management, which is increasingly becoming a part of the global focus on ethical and environmental issues.
Efficiency is also becoming more relied upon as economies across the world begin to change their course as global recession looms.
