Implementing new scheduling technology has helped Spanish professional lighting manufacturer Indal to significantly improve its planning of production resources, a report has confirmed.
Installing the new scheduling technology has led to the lighting manufacturer being able to track daily production in greater detail.
José Vicente Atienza, logistics director of Indalux Valladolid (part of the Indal Group), was quoted in an MCSolutions report as saying: "[The] scheduler is a strategic solution for us, to the extent that we just can't imagine how we would manage everyday manufacturing processes without it.
"We are very pleased with the way it works and the way it has been easily adapted to our modus operandi."
