Brussels International Airport will play host to a number of delegates from the 8th Cool Chain Europe conference next month, it has been confirmed.
The airport will demonstrate to the supply chain experts the practical applications of the cool chain systems which ensure products are transported at highly regulated temperatures.
"Pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply is one of the most heavily regulated of all industry verticals and as such the transport hub will be subject to close scrutiny," said a statement from conference organisers IQPC.
"Experts will be looking to address the reasons why shipments fail to maintain a consistent and compliant temperature on their journey from manufacturer to customer and look at possible solutions."

Supply chain management companies can assist any business in making sure its supply chain is robust in a turbulent economy.
