The German headquarters of BASF, in Ludwigshafen, will play host to the Supply Chain Roadshow on November 18th, it has been confirmed.
Designed to inform members of the chemicals industry about the benefits of 'paperless technologies for electronic invoicing and digital signatures', the roadshow is hoped to create a few greener - as well as faster and more cost efficient - supply chains.
In a statement made to the press Ralf Kahre, senior manager for global e-solutions for BASF, said: "Elemica has the most advanced and flexible technology to connect quickly to our customer and supplier base to improve processes and facilitate collaboration.
"We would like to offer other companies in Germany the opportunity to learn from users like Solvay, OXEA, Wacker and Penta how they are using the Elemica Network and solutions and how new partners can benefit from these experiences."
Adapting a supply chain can bring great efficiencies to a business, as well as save a company a great deal of money.
To make the most of the opportunity to change, contacting a third-party supply chain management company may offer the best solutions.
