China was found not only to produce over a quarter of the world's exported stainless steel but also to use more than the world's average per capita.
Exporting 7.206 million tonnes of stainless steel in 2007 and consuming 4.3kg per capita (almost ten per cent over the world average of 4.3kg per capita), the Directory of Stainless Steel Supply Chain in China is therefore a necessary text for companies hoping to deal in steel with China.
The report has been explained as the most substantial account of steel producers in the country, and will be essential for any government or industry that deals in steel.
