The Demand-Driven Supply Chain 2008 (DDSC) conference is set to take place in London between October 14 and 15, it has been confirmed.
For firms hoping to look at ways of improving their supply chains or indeed outsource to a firm capable of managing their demands, the conference could be a good starting point.
Split over two days, DDSC will offer a plethora of keynote speakers, including the Nokia Siemens head of supply chain Chris Dyson and managing director of supply chains at Bulmers Ireland, Aidan Murphy.
There will also be a speech from the Woolworths former head of supply chains, Alastair Charatan, among many more.
The first day is organised as a day for speakers and conferences, whereas the second day will be reserved for "highly interactive" workshops, of which delegates can pick and mix from the varieties on offer.
Outsourcing a supply chain is becoming more common as companies are seeing that their supply chains are playing more and more crucial roles to the outgoing costs involved in their production.
