In an attempt to cut fuel bills, E.ON has ordered 100 new Fiat Grande Punto vans.
The vans, which are all equipped with air conditioning, reverse parking sensors and a speed limiter have been supplied to E.ON's meter reading division.
Colin Parnell, national contract hire and leasing manager for Fiat Professional, said that he was delighted the company had chosen to work with Fiat.
"E.ON chose us for a number of reasons, including the overall cost of ownership, the Grande Punto's fuel efficiency and the fact that they received positive feedback from drivers during evaluation," Mr Parnell said.
He added that the deal has a five year contract and is based on driving 30,000 miles annually.
Other features of the brightly-coloured vans include a rear window protection grille and protective mats.
Grahame Neagus, the head of Lloyds TSB Autolease, said that the deal would "allow E.ON to continue to offer its high level of service" while at the same time keeping running costs low and environmental damage to a minimum.
