Iveco deal 'could cut costs' for those in transport planning

Businesses looking at supply chain transport planning may welcome a new package that has been announced by one van manufacturer this week.

Iveco has promised retail customers opting its latest 3.5 tonne Daily panel models they can now take advantage of a free two-year maintenance and repair option.

The Elements Motion offer will be applied to vans that are registered before the end of the year and will be valid on vehicles clocking up distances of up to 30,000 miles per annum.

Andrea Bucci, marketing director at Iveco UK, commented that smaller fleets may be particularly interested in the offering as it will remove the need for a separate cover package when purchasing transport solutions.

"This unique deal allows them to benefit from free servicing and maintenance for the first two years of the vehicle's life, therefore helping to manage cash flow and minimise expenditure," he added.

Earlier this year, Mr Bucci was unveiled as Iveco's network new strategy director, a role he took in addition to his position as marketing director.
