Logistics and supply chain services provider Aramex has revealed it enjoyed strong growth in freight services across Europe in the second quarter of this year.
In its latest trading update, the company, which operates services in the UK, suggested that its revenue growth of 15 per cent over the period was driven by increasing business across all of its operations, but particularly from expansion in both Europe and India.
The firm also achieved a high net profit margin of ten per cent in the second quarter as it maintained a focus on cost efficiency.
Fadi Ghandour, founder and chief executive of Aramex, said the figures met the courier's expectations.
He added: "Supported by our strong cash position, we remain focused on investing and expanding in emerging markets such as those in Africa, south-east Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States countries."
Originally established in 1982, Aramex is a founding member of the Global Distribution Alliance, which brings together over 40 express and logistics providers from across the world.
