The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' (CSCMP) Annual Global Conference 2008 has added another company to its roster of keynote speakers, it has been reported.

The conference, to be held in Denver, Colorado, from October 5th - 8th, will host several discussions about the world of supply chains, and how to ensure best practice is adhered to.

One of the new topics is related to the ongoing credit crunch, entitled: 'Thriving in an Economic Downturn: Strategies for Optimizing Business and Supply Chain Performance', giving attendants a hint of the up-to-date nature of the conference.

Supply chains have been thrust into the public face of a company in recent years as a result of consumers becoming more aware of the ethical and environmental consequences of the products they are buying.

The CSCMP conference 2008 is expected to draw 3,500 attendees together in order to allow hundreds of companies to interact and share best practice.

To secure best supply chain practice in any business, outsourcing operations to a supply chain management company would be advisable.
