Transport planning bosses keen to improve safety and bring down costs could benefit from a new website set up by leading road safety charity Brake.
The group's new web portal - fleetsafetyforum.org - is designed to offer fleet managers a "one-stop shop" for advice on safety, best practice and efficiency.
The website will include guidance reports, information and resources on topics ranging from eco-friendly driving to driver tiredness and duty of care issues.
Roz Cumming, Fleet Safety Forum manager at Brake, said: "The new site gives fleets a valuable range of information and resources, all in one place, to help them improve safety and save lives."
She urged all fleets to join the charity's community of "safety conscious organisations" by subscribing to the site at a cost of £115 plus VAT every year.
Last week, Brake issued a call for companies with trucks in their fleets to sign up to a voluntary code of practice run by campaign group Reflect.
The code, which is designed to improve safety for all road users, encourages firms to fit retro-reflective markings to all HGV vehicles in order to increase visibility.
