A UK cheese supplier has marked the completion of its brand development project by adding two new Volvo FH-500s to its fleet.

FJ Need (Foods) Limited, based in Cheshire, unveiled the new vehicles as part of plans to re-brand its Spinnyfields cheese line to help raise the company's profile and boost growth.

The Euro 4, 500 hp tractor units feature the refreshed Spinnyfields logo and signage, transferring the new image to its fleet and marking the final stage of the re-branding effort.

Each vehicle also features a manual gearbox along with a range of optional extras, including leather seats, upgraded living package and an on-board fridge.

The trucks are now set to hit the roads as they go into service across the north-west and FJ Need's transport manager Simon Platt is pleased with the choice.

"I have always been impressed with the extras that Volvo provides and their value for money," he commented.

"As our drivers are away from home for up to five days at a time, comfort is paramount."

The latest endorsement of Volvo's vehicles comes after UK supermarket chain Iceland last week ordered 70 new FM trucks from the manufacturers to help transport goods during the festive shopping rush.
