Organisers of next year's Commercial Vehicle Operator Show have seen strong demand for bookings from firms keen to take advantage of the opportunities on offer.
The event, which offers transport planning chiefs the chance to keep on top of industry trends and meet thousands of potential partners and customers, will take place in Birmingham next April 13th to 15th.
With the UK slowly beginning to recover from the recession, operational efficiency is set to be high on the agenda, helping firms to stay ahead of the competition.
Transport managers will also get to sample the latest industry developments from exhibitors ranging from tyre companies and in-car technology firms to truck and van manufacturers.
Nick Jones, chief executive of the Society of Operations Engineers, which helps run the show, said he was "delighted" with the positive reaction to next year's event.
"The enthusiasm shown by so many key industry suppliers has far surpassed our expectations and I am convinced that the show will form a blueprint for the future of such events in the UK and Europe," he commented.
Last month, organisers of the show highlighted the importance of technology and route planning systems for logistics firms seeking to improve their cost reduction.
