Transport planning bosses keen to stay abreast of the latest international road laws can brush up on their knowledge with new expert guide.
The 15th edition of the Freight Transport Association's (FTA) annual International Road Transport Guide is now available to fleet managers across the UK.
Designed to clarify the often confusing regulations in place in countries across the EU and beyond, the guide also includes new travel advice sections for each nation.
The 2010 edition features all the information needed to help transport managers avoid potential delays and adhere to the law, including updated details of public holidays, lorry bans and toll prices.
Don Armour, FTA's international manager and editor of the guide, said the booklet will help fleet bosses deal with the "confusing array" of local and national regulations in place across the globe.
Earlier this month, the FTA expressed concern over the weekend lorry bans that exist in many countries across Europe, claiming that they could hinder delivery at a time when many companies were looking to move goods by road as a result of the chaos surrounding air travel.
