Transport planning chiefs keen to add to their fleet of light commercial vehicles may be tempted to plump for one of the latest models from Peugeot.
The manufacturer landed two prestigious iVan Awards at the CV Operators' Show earlier this week, continuing its highly successful start to 2010.
Its Bipper model picked up the Best Light Van 2010 Award, while the Peugeot Expert drove away with the title of Best Compact Van.
The double success came on the back of recent figures released by the manufacturer which showed a 65.1 per cent rise in sales so far this year.
Publisher and executive editor of iVan and iTruck magazines Tim Campbell said the performance and efficiency of the Peugeot vans made them stand out from the rest.
"These particular categories are a battle-ground of practicality and costs, and the Peugeot vans are unbeatable for usability, low emissions and all-important running costs," he commented.
Visitors to the CV Operator Show in Birmingham this week also got the chance to see several other Peugeot models, with the manufacturer showcasing its Roadload U-tail Boxer van and the latest Partner Crew van, as well as the Bipper and Expert.
