Slough International Freight and Packaging has added a new Renault truck to its fleet as it seeks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
The haulage company took delivery of the 6x2 Renault Magnum 500.25 this week, marking the first Renault vehicle that the firm has taken on.
Dave Matthews, managing director of Slough International Freight and Packaging, said the truck's "excellent value for money" had inspired the company's choice.
"It is a quality, great looking truck at a very competitive price," he commented.
"The Renault Magnum's automated gearbox and spacious cab makes it very driver friendly for long distance work and our drivers are very happy with the vehicle."
Slough International Freight and Packaging provides 24-hour delivery anywhere in the UK, as well as storage facilities and international distribution.
Last month, newly-appointed chairman of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association Commercial Vehicle Board Leif Johansson called for greater support for truck makers as sales continued to fall.
He said policymakers must provide support by taking all possible steps to improve business confidence and boost sales in the sector.
